18 Mar The “C” Word
I’m so used to saying the F word, that I didn’t really notice the C-word until this week when my youngest daughter told me that she might not have to go to school because of Corona Virus. Immediately I thought, wait … is this a new addiction that I need to know about?!?
Healthy Mindset – Healthy People – Healthy Business – Healthy Community
And then my amazing marketing person asked me “What’s your C-Word position” which made me realise that I have been so focused on creating a healthy mindset and workplace with all my meditating and turning off social media, that I had completely missed all the fear-mongering going on. Which was reassuring. Although there’s a part of me that’s a little disappointed that I missed out on all the supermarket shenanigans!
So with more people focussing on the C-word, and wanting to know what we’re doing to keep ourselves and everyone else safe the answer is ….
Like many other businesses, we’ve implemented some standards based on the advice of the World Health Organisation and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer. Our practice manager, Rebecca, is reviewing our approach regularly.
Flu-Like Symptoms
If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or have been overseas in the past 14 days (you lucky thing!), we ask that you don’t come into the clinic. You can send us photos though of your latest overseas venture so that we can dream about where our next C-free trip will be and book while it’s at the bottom of the market #alwayswinning #bargainholidays
Skype or Facetime it!
If you can’t come into the clinic because of the flu or self-quarantine, we can use the technology that my 10yo set up for us and offer your session via Skype or Face-Time.
Our new foot handshake
We can’t wait to show you our new foot-shake “hand-shake” that we’ve all been practising. And once you watch the YouTube clip here, I expect you to have this perfected before your next appointment (minus the high five at the end!). And we’ll have the music on constant loop in the clinic haha J Can’t wait to see your moves!
Nice-Smelling Zen Zone
You will be welcomed to the clinic’s zen zone with the smells of essentials oils in our air purifier. The blend of tee-tree and oregano oils has been blended specifically to keep our air fresh and clean.
Keep it clean!
Usually this is what I get told about my language, but now we’re extending this by offering the use of hand sanitiser at the front reception on arrival.
We will also be regularly cleaning our hot spots in the office including door handles, coffee tables and desks.
From our side we remain absolutely committed to doing everything we can to keep yours and our health and safety as a top priority.
And as a self-confessed germ phobe I can honestly say I’m very excited about the new standards of cleanliness we will be introducing.
